Manuel de Amaya (17-18?) was a Spanish nobleman, the administrador general of the Real Renta de Tabaco in Buenos Aires. == Biography ==
Born in Sevilla, Amaya arrived in the port of Buenos Aires c. 1775, to fulfill governmental functions in Viceroyalty of Rio de la Plata. His wife was Valentina, "porteña" daughter of Don Joseph Zenzano, an important member of the government. Amaya was the first holder in Administración General of Buenos Aires, he was appointed in 1778.
